I just realized while sitting here staring into space that today marks the fifth anniversary of my reconstructive knee surgery.

I tore my ACL in 2000 and had that sucker repared Dec. 18 it effectively ended my athletic career, even though I was back in action on the gridiron and the basketball court in 2001-2002. But that's the last time I would see a playing field for any real competitive action.

But, maybe it was a good thing, because now I'm here at UCA and I found something I truly love doing. Plus I dont have to practice anymore and get screamed at by coaches.

So it's all good.
